The activities described in this book will suit teachers of Key Stage 3 and above and their students.  When we are planning our lessons it is easy to get stuck in the rut of frequently using the same activities, and we want to find something different for ourselves as well as for our students, who might also be feeling bored of the same diet.  In addition, an activity that suits one class and helps them to learn might not necessarily be good for another, so we always need to have some different up our sleeve.

The activities are arranged conveniently according to skill and theme, which will help to direct teachers quickly and easily to what they are looking for.  The different language levels required for each activity are clearly signposted, and further options and ideas are often presented within activities.
