Julia offers a very thoughtful and, at times, personal account of what it is to be a tutor, and how important the role is in shaping children’s lives. It’s also a very useful text for those curious about tutoring as a career path. Tutoring isn’t just an ‘add-on’, it’s a Sherpa-style approach to teaching and learning, and, for us readers, Julia is a fantastic guide.
